Flash Photo Manager is a Flash Object to allow a user to view existing images, resize and upload new photos (even large files from a camera) to a web server with ease. The Flash Photo Manager will automatically resize the images locally to 400 x 300 px, before uploading them to your folder specified in the settings file. This reduces server load/usage as the client does the resizing before uploading the image. The Flash Photo Manager checks which files already exist and places them in the Flash Photo Manager allowing the user to re-order the images simply by dragging the image to another taken slot. Flash Photo Manager is a great addition to real estate property scripts, blogs, classified scripts, any PHP script where you want users to upload photos to. Simply replace the swf file and your script is updated. INSTRUCTIONS: Place the all the files in the root of your domain. Edit config_fpm.php file with your server settings. Make sure the images folder is set to CHMOD 777. To use the Flash Photo Manager, you can embed the photomanager.php file into any HTML page, or use on its own. You will need to pass it 'view=' value in the URL, so it knows what to name the images. Example: photomanager.php?view=uniqueid You need to pass a unique ID as the view number This will name all the photos that are uploaded, uniqueid-0.jpg to uniqueid-8.jpg , and place them in the folder you specified and chmod 777 in your config_fpm.php file.
